Pastor founded Restoration of Life Ministries, "The church that restores Christian values to a broken generation"
on August 12, 1999. Pastor Fleming, being born and raised in the church, knew one day God would place him in his present calling
as a modern day visionary. Pastor G.L. Fleming labored as the Associate Pastor of Healing Temple Church of Jesus Christ for
3 years where his grandfather, Elder Thomas Ellerbe, was the Pastor. After hearing the call of God, Pastor George attended
Bethesda Christian Institute and studied under Pastor James Beal. During his studies, he was inspired by God to establish
Restoration of Life Ministries in a converted store that only sat 20 people. A year later, Restoration of Life Ministries
purchased their current location. Restoration of Life Ministries has dedicated itself to being the Spiritual Hospital on the
north eastside of Detroit.
Under the spiritual covering of Bishop David and Elaine Billy of Jesus Tabernacle Covenant Fellowship of Churches,
Pastor George has received guidance and mentoring to successfully lead God’s people with character and integrity. He
is committed to teaching God’s people to be equipped naturally as well as spiritually. We have seen the power of God
restore and transform people to become faithful, obedient servants of Christ. They will continue to strive diligently as they
prepare to build the new Restoration of Life Family Center the vision shall come to pass.
"Jeremiah 3: 15. And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
TRIBUTE TO OUR PASTORS
Whereas, God in his infinite wisdom and knowledge ordained our Pastor to the call of Pastorship of
Restoration of Life Ministries.
Whereas, he has been found faithful and dedicated, in carrying out the commands of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus
Christ with joy and enthusiasm.
And Whereas, he has birthed this ministry wherein we, the congregation of Restoration have grown and been nurtured
in the Word of Our Lord.
Be it resolved, that we do now dedicate ourselves to lining up under the authority and leadership of this God
inspired leader.
And be it resolved, that we will dedicate ourselves to fasting and praying in preparation to become instrumental
in the growth process of our church.
And be if further resolved, that we will also dedicate ourselves to praying diligently for the higher call
and elevation of our leader.
We do now on this 13th day of August, in the year of our Lord, 2005, humbly submit ourselves
to the leadership of our Pastor for the fulfillment of the vision that God has given, for the birthing and
building of the new Restoration of Life Family Center.
